Kingdom Military Academy (KMA)
Your journey to leadership, character, and your calling in God's kingdom.
The Kingdom Military Academy is a Christian military academy for training new and young leaders who want to serve full-time in God’s kingdom. It’s an intensive, life-changing training school with military disciplines lasting three months. This (international) training program offers a complete program with 10 weeks of instruction and two weeks of outreach.

What does the program look like?
The program lasts 3 months, or 6 months if you’d like an internship. The teaching phase is 3 months, with 10 weeks of teaching and 2 weeks of physical character training. The KMA begins with an introductory week at a unique outdoor location, followed by a character journey in the mountains after 5 weeks of teaching. Afterwards, you have the option of completing a 3-month internship in Europe, where we’ll send you on a personal project. Classes run from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Saturdays are your free day, and Sundays are a church service, where you’ll be actively involved. Classes run from January to April or from September to December. We start the morning with a communal breakfast. In the afternoon, we eat lunch together, and in the evening, we share a hot meal. Every Monday morning, the entire team arrives at the base. Classes are held in the morning, and in the afternoon, we have physical character training. On Friday afternoons, we have an outreach to put what we’ve learned into practice. In the evenings, you have free time or can enjoy communal worship, house groups, or an evening of games and lots of fun. In addition to the regular weekly and daily schedule, we’ve incorporated unexpected elements that challenge students to push their personal boundaries.
Lecture Phase
The Lesson Phase is designed as an in-depth learning experience, in which you work on personal growth, character development, and spiritual deepening. You will follow a unique path combining military disciplines, lessons from inspiring instructors, experienced guest lecturers, and groundbreaking outdoor training. For three months, you’ll connect with like-minded individuals, develop genuine camaraderie, and immediately apply what you learn, working on personal, mental, and physical goals. The program is offered in Dutch and English.
Outreach phase
During the outreach phase, a trip abroad is planned. The first week of orientation will take place at a unique outdoor location. The goal is to get to know each other. Afterward, you’ll settle into base camp, and during the outreach phase, you’ll visit a mountainous area where you’ll grow spiritually and explore your physical and mental limits. During the lecture phase, there are also various outreach opportunities on Friday afternoons. We want to teach students to put theory into practice. Therefore, we encourage them to develop a lifestyle of witness and a spirit of service. Students are actively involved in the community. We also have regular evangelism activities.
After the lecture phase, you can be sent on a three-month internship at a church, ministry, or organization in Europe.

The Internship
After the three-month training program, it is possible to complete a three-month internship: a practical phase. This prepares you for the start of your ministry.
A program (practical internship with learning objectives and personal guidance) is developed together with the student. The student will learn to apply theory in practice under the guidance of a supervisor. We are happy to work with the student to develop a suitable program.
The Kingdom Military Academy maintains contacts with missionaries, church planters, and evangelists who have their ministry in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe. Together with the student, we look for the most suitable internship. The internships aim to put what they have learned into practice and to orient them towards a potential personal ministry. Students gain knowledge of various aspects of missions, church planting, and evangelism. They also learn to navigate different cultures, circumstances, and teamwork. Any internship costs for the practical phase are determined in consultation with the internship provider. Students gain practical experience within a church, church planting project, Christian organization, or mission organization. The goal of this period is to learn to function independently, actively participate in work, and receive on-the-job training and coaching. This internship can lead to a ministry in God’s Kingdom for students. The internship will provide students with further clarity about their gifts and (future) calling and ministry.
